CRAFT BEERS

 
The Clandestines of Montferri are ale fermentation craft beers made from natural ingredients, many of them coming from small busnisses   The gas in them comes from a natural fermentation process and they are not pasteurised.  What all the Clandestine beers share are two basic characteristics: the water, which comes from an aquifer of the small Gaià river which is a unmistakable hallmark in all our beers and the care and love that is put into making them.

The classic Clandestine beer which has been with us for years throughout this adventure.  A traditional pale ale with an amber colour, the aroma and taste of malt cereals and a balanced bitterness.  Pleasant to drink.

ROSSA
GOLDEN ALE


A light, golden beer with a floral aroma and slight bitterness from the hops.  It was created for all types of people, but especially those who want to consume in a responsible way taking into consideration that the ingredients used come from agriculture that respects the environment.   Refreshing to drink.

ESPELTA
SPELT WHEAT BEER


We have allowed the flavour of the malted wheat used in this beer to be the main characteristic, as much for taste and aroma as for its nutritional value.  It is a clear yellow beer with a fruity flavour typical of wheat beers, with a marked sweetness and creaminess.  Interesting and curious.

NEGRA
STOUT

 

We just couldn't miss the opportunity of making a good stout to pay homage to the water we us, a rich in the necessary minerals, to give the flavour characteristic of this style.  It has a taste and aroma that remind you of liquorice, coffee and chocolate all at once. A beer with character.

FARIGOLA
THYME ALE


Thyme is one of the ingredients in this beer we have chosen to give it a pinch of the local scenery band countryside that surrounds the small village of Montferri and our brewery.  The aroma and taste his aromatic herb gives the beer combines perfectly with the flavour and sweetness of the malts and the mild bitterness of the hops.  Surprising.

Because we also like beers with flavours and aromas of American hops but with the body and intensity of a good British malt.  A really good IPA.
